How on earth did you achieve this! It's great! Very clever indeed.
That's fantastically done! Very nice work. I take it this was PS and not an in-camera job?
(And I to, have not entered much this whole month - nearly time to get back into all that!)
Oh yes, Photoshop was used to merge two captures. (Actually three, the tv screen was a separate exposure also).
The most difficult part of this picture was the math to calculate the scaling of the flash and camera positions to match the same angles and lighting of the initial "empty room" shot. I learned this the hard way from my "Quick Change Artist" image.
As I think about it tho', I bet this could be done in 1 shot by using a long exposure and firing the flash when each component was properly positioned.
Sounds like a little experiment for the weekend ;)
Perfect lighting, this shot looks so believable. I love the idea that no matter where you are, as long as there's tv, it's all good. ;)
