Day 30 - Joey Sandulo

joeysandulo

Joey Sandulo let me and a buddy (MyShutterBug) run around his gym taking pictures for a couple of hours today. He had never met us before, and he was all class, as he put up with a couple of amateur photogs, telling us great stories all the while. I doubt that he will ever see this, but if he does, Thank You.

Here are some facts about Joey's career:

Joe Sandulo is the president and head coach of the Ottawa Beaver Boxing Club.

He has assisted and coached several Canadian champions including Brian Brennan, Ian Clyde, Samir Loati and the club’s newest champion, Jill Perry.

At the age of 16, Mr. Sandulo became the youngest Canadian Amateur Boxing Champion (a record that will never be broken), and competed in the 1948 Olympic games.

He is a member of the Canadian Boxing and Ottawa Halls of Fame.

melummy...... Your Aunt Berni and I want to tell you how much we have enjoyed the pics. over the last thirty. We have had a few laughs over some of them, some of them made us think. but all were amazing. We are very very proud of the creative artist that you have become. Because, as you know, there is nothing better than being artsy fartsy in our family.

love ya

Your photos have been amazingly creative and different!!

A job extremely WELL DONE!! And I think it's neat that you know a fellow 30 day photograph challenger!

This is a fabulous portrait and he is so at home in his setting too. Lovely stuff.

Congratulations on managing all 30 days. It's a hard job and you have done it very well. The images you have produced have been interesting, thought provoking and very clever, and you have a collection you should be very happy with! Well done.

Congrats on making it all the way to day thirty and what a great portrait to finish it off with (or do you have a surprise planned for us for day 31?).
I enjoyed your gallery a lot the past thirty days and I think it can be split into to categories: the first one is the surreal photoshop work, showing you're not only a great photographer, but a master photoshopper as well. The second category are the gritty photos, often showing mundane things, but executed perfectly and the great colors make some wicked photos.
